The Center for America’s First Horse, Inc., located in Johnson, Vermont is a non- profit organization dedicated the rare and historic Spanish mustang, the first horse to arrive in America with the Spanish explorers in the 1500’s. The Center’s mission is to enrich people’s lives through hands -on interaction with their herd of Spanish mustangs. This is done by using Natural Horsemanship philosophies and techniques that create a partnership with horses based on trust, respect and communication.
Stephanie Lockhart, founder of The Center and international Natural Horsemanship clinician will be giving demonstrations with two Spanish mustangs from The Center. In addition, private ½ hour sessions (additional fee) will be offered to those wishing to experience the connection humans and horses can have. Fun and educational children’s activities will be ongoing throughout the weekend. Visit www.centerforamericasfirsthorse.org
