Everything You Need To Know: Hiring An SEO Expert

Are you looking to hire an SEO expert? There is no dearth of individuals claiming to be an SEO expert but more often than not, most of these so-called experts don’t really understand the nuances of search engine optimization. There are only a few experts who regularly test a variety of theories in order to figure out the latest algorithmic changes made by search engines such as Google.

Therefore, you need to be careful when hiring a self-professed expert in search engine optimization as someone who doesn’t know much about SEO can do a lot more harm than good to your website. Here are a few tips to help you choose the right expert in search engine optimization in order to take your website to the next level.

If you start searching for search engine optimization experts online, you’ll find that there are thousands of individuals and companies claiming to be experts in SEO and you will find these experts spread all across the world. One of the most tempting things is to hire the services of the cheapest individual or company claiming to be expert in search engine optimization without paying attention to their credentials and reputation.

It is important that you do not choose a search engine optimization expert only on the basis of price. There is no dearth of snake oil salesmen in this industry looking to make a quick buck at the expense of their customers. You should always keep in mind that the wrong choice for search engine optimization can literally kill your domain which means they are capable of doing extreme harm to your website through the techniques used for optimization.

There have been many cases, even big brands, where the whole website has been penalized by Google and other search engines as the search engine optimization experts hired by these companies indulged in optimization practices that were against the guidelines issued by search engines. Therefore you need to be extremely careful and make sure the person you are working with adheres to the guidelines issued by search engines such as Google while optimizing your website.

To find out whether the company you are going to work with adherence to Google’s guidelines or not, the only thing you need to look at is the results achieved by them for their other clients. When you take a look at the results they have achieved for other clients, make sure you ask them to share results for a very long time period, ideally for over a period of 12 to 18 months.

If websites have been able to maintain the rankings over such a long period of time, it means the optimization experts know their job and are doing something right. This is due to the fact that the long-term goal of any expert in SEO is to achieve and maintain high rankings over a long period of time. You do not want your website to rank in the top results for only a few weeks.

So, ask for recommendations from your business associates and others in the industry in order to find a true expert in search engine optimization in order to take your website to the next level when it comes to rankings in organic search.

Whitehat Backlinking & SEO For Your Site

This blog post is about link building or sending signals to content that you’ve already created. It’s a very large part of search engine optimization and it’s important to mention that I will be using real estate as an example of an area to build backlinks. Of course, you can adjust this for your own niche or business category.

If you are in real estate you are extremely lucky that you found this blog post, as I’m gonna make it easy for you to get onto the first page of Google. I will be using what is called white hat, or very legitimate tactics to get links back to your site. Now, the first and foremost thing that I want to emphasize is that I’m not going to go through a hundred different ways to build links. In this post, I’m going to go through three or four methods, which is really all you need!

So let’s talk about link building for a second to make sure that you actually understand what it is. One of my least favorite things on the internet is that oftentimes there are people talking about things that they themselves haven’t done. What they do is they go out and they learn a topic, they make claims like “Oh, I have a hundred clients that are doing really well using this strategy” but they can’t actually show you anything that they’ve done themselves specifically with the strategies that they’re teaching you about. This happens a lot, especially in the real estate space.

For the last six blog posts I have created on my real estate blog, have gotten 22,000 unique visits with 33,000 pageviews and 25,000 site views, and just so that you know, the keywords that I’m targeting are real estate related. The impressive thing about these numbers which most of you won’t realize is that I’ve done them in six months. Most of the time with Google it takes six months to start seeing results. I’m going to teach you some of the tricks that I use in terms of building links and everything that I’m teaching you today is what is referred to as white hat. In other words, I’m doing my best to live within the guidelines of Google and make sure that my own website and your websites to will not get penalized if you follow my advice.

Here are some of the metrics you need to use when looking at website rankings in the search results on google: Domain authority, number of backlinks, and social signals. These kinds of stats can be found using a number of tools which analyze Google search results like Ahrefs or Moz.

Domain authority is, roughly speaking how authoritative the entire domain is. The score is 0 to 100, 0 is the worst, 100 is the best. The signals that Google and other platforms use to develop these scores are related to a lot of things but we’re going to keep it simple, we’re going to keep it down to two separate types of signals. Social signals and backlink signals.

Backlinks are when other websites basically vote for your website. How do they vote for your website? It’s if they create a link to your website on their own website. That could be in a blog post, news article, in their website footer, or anywhere on their site. Depending on how powerful google thinks their website or page they are linking to you from, the more powerful that backlink will be.

If you are trying to rank a site on Google in a large, wealthy city, you’re going to have more competition trying to rank your website. If your competitors are going for the broader terms and you want to compete with them, you either need to take some advanced courses in link building or you need to hire an SEO professional like https://bossnorthseo.com. There aren’t very many people that know what they’re doing but the good news is you probably don’t have to hire someone if you don’t want to. Let me explain: There are many less competitive keyword terms you could target. For instance, if you are want to rank for a term like “Beverly Hills Real Estate”, you could also go for a less competitive term like “Beverly Hills Luxury Condos” which will be easier to rank for due to lower competition. With a search term like that you can create content that targets this term and is optimized for it, giving you a better chance of ranking.

Now, as for social signals, most people, myself included are of the belief that social is a very low impact on anything that Google looks at, if not negligible. However here’s been what my experience has been with social is that while I don’t believe that it impacts ranking per se or directly, it is something that Google looks at and can impact your rankings in the long term, as well as drive traffic to your sites if used correctly.

Social can speed up your rankings, and I think you’ll rank very fast using social signals. Social is one of those key elements to wildly drop your results time down. So how do you get these social signals? You either have a pre-established social audience or you can pay social platforms to have your posts appear on people’s feeds to get likes and other types of signals that look good to search engines. If you have a business already you should probably be using social platforms like Facebook and Twitter to build your brand as well as get traffic from these sites to your website. But also, having some budget for paid social traffic isn’t a bad idea as it can be well worth the expense.
